What we2gether is

we2gether is a couples app and a party game platform in one place. Two of you pair with a short code and get a private meadow: a live counter of your time together, daily photo prompts, a Sunday check in, a shared calendar with a date ideas deck, and a garden that grows every day you both turn up. Then there is the arcade: thirty two games for date nights, and party rooms where up to eight friends join from their own phones with no account at all.

It runs in the browser, installs to a home screen like an app, and costs nothing. Not free for now. Free.

Daily rituals

A themed photo prompt every morning and a surprise one at a random moment, both post, both reveal. A ten minute check in every Sunday with rose, thorn and bud. A counter that ticks the same on both your phones.

Why it is free

we2gether was built by two people for themselves first, and then opened up. It runs on free infrastructure tiers by design and there is no ad, no data sale and no premium shelf. Every other couples app on the market charges a yearly subscription for the same daily question. This one does not, and it is not going to.

Built in Canberra by Nunik Co., written in Australian English, and used every day by the couple who made it.

Questions people ask

Is we2gether really free?
Yes. There is no premium tier, no trial and nothing to unlock. It runs on free infrastructure by design, and it stays free.
Do I need to download an app?
No. we2gether runs in the browser on any phone or laptop. You can add it to your home screen and it behaves like an app, with push notifications for daily prompts.
How do we pair up?
One of you creates an account and gets a short code. The other signs in and enters it. From then on the meadow is shared: the counter, the journal, the check ins and the garden.
Do our friends need an account to play party games?
No. A host opens a room and shares a code. Friends join from their own phones with a nickname only. Up to eight players, or pass one phone around the couch.
Is our journal private?
Yes. Photos and check ins are only ever visible to the two paired accounts, enforced on the server. You can export everything and delete everything.
Which games are there?
Thirty two, from This or That and a celebrity Guess Who to music battles, custom Wordle, Connections, Connect Four with power discs, and a full set of party games like Werewolf, Imposter and Most Likely To.
