Daily photo prompts for couples
A daily photo prompt is the easiest ritual a couple can keep, and the best one for distance. It takes ten seconds, it needs no words, and a year later you have a journal of ordinary days that turned out to matter.
These are the prompts from the we2gether photo deck. Themed prompts are announced in the morning so you can look out for them. Surprise prompts ping at a random moment and you have to shoot whatever is in front of you.

How to use them
- One prompt a day, both of you post, and do not look at theirs until you have posted yours. The app enforces that, but the honour system works too.
- Surprise prompts are meant to be answered within a few minutes. Whatever you are looking at is the answer.
- Keep everything. The boring ones become the good ones.

Questions people ask
- How does the photo reveal work?
- In we2gether neither photo shows until both of you have posted. Then they appear side by side in a shared journal that is kept forever, with reactions and comments.
- Are the photos private?
- Yes. The journal is only ever visible to the two paired accounts, with strict row level access on the server.
